J. Paul Copeland, founder of Copeland Insurance Services, was a retired educator with thirty-one years of service. He served the DeKalb County School System (Georgia) as a teacher, principal, director of personnel, and assistant superintendent. During the last eighteen years with DeKalb he was responsible for the employee benefit program for over 6,000 educators.
His vision and our mission today is to support professional educators with professional liability protection. From simple beginnings our company has grown, and we now insure over 92,000 teachers.
