Accidental Death and Dismemberment Insurance

The Georgia Association of Educational Leaders provides members with $10,000 of Accidental Death and Dismemberment insurance.

Members must be employed by one of the following:

* Local Board of Education
* State Board of Education
* Regional Educational Service Agency
* College or University
* Georgia Association of Educational Leaders

Claims

To file a claim for the accidental death or dismemberment of an active member of the Georgia Association of Educational Leaders (GAEL), please call the GAEL office toll free at (800) 533-4235.

Beneficiary Designation

If there is no designated beneficiary or no designated beneficiary is living after the insured’s death, the benefits will be paid, in equal shares, to the survivors in the first surviving class of those that follow: the insured’s (1) spouse; (2) children; (3) parents; or (4) brother and sisters. If no class has a survivor, the beneficiary is the insured’s estate.
